Yang Ming provides transportation and logistic services internationally while operating a fleet of approximately 100 container ship vessels worldwide. Yang Ming challenged Whitney to provide an inventive solution to portray their core values - high quality service, innovation, and success by communication. These values directed the foundation of the design to reinforce their brand and core values. The architectural elements tie in their identity by incorporating natural elements of wood, water, and metal as well as organic shapes and natural lighting.

The nautical influence creates a clean aesthetic that emits a tranquil, fluid, inviting, stable environment. Employees and visitors enjoy how the space emits a peaceful Zen like feel. The majority of the space is focused on the employee experience by providing collaborative workstations and shared common areas. Through Environmental Branding Whitney was able to incorporate the company history and image. The international and modern style expressed creates a successful and cohesive work environment.
