C.F. Industries is one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in North America.  After 30 years in a lake front, company-owned building, C.F. Industries decided to sell the property and move to a multi-tenant office building. The new building layout represented a cultural shift from work stations with high panels in a dark space to a light, airy space with lower panels and layouts to encourage teamwork and collaboration. Numerous conference and team rooms were scattered throughout the two and a half floors to provide plenty of formal and informal meeting areas.

The soothing colors and materials used throughout the space were drawn from nature to reflect the business of C.F. Industries. The clean, contemporary lines of the interior architecture were influenced by the idea of the layers of earth and rock slipping past one another. The use of environmentally friendly materials such as cork and bamboo reinforced C.F. Industries’ dedication to their environmentally friendly business practices.
